The community has weighed in on alternative futures to the trend (no plan) growth scenario, that is, what the parish will look like in twenty years if we do not do anything differently. The three alternative scenarios are called Multi-Center Growth, Balanced Growth and Corridor Growth. The community is being asked to vote on their favorite scenario at Community Forum Series 3 that will consist of two Open Houses: Tuesday, May 14, Rosa Parks Transportation Center from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, May 15, Heymann Performing Arts Center from 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Please visit PlanLafayette.com for more information.
