“Prayer Service Before Start of Hurricane Season” – Tuesday, May 28 – All are invited to attend a special “Prayer Service Before the Start of Hurricane Season” on Tuesday, May 28, at 6:30 p.m. at Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, Lafayette. Rev. Chester Arceneaux, Rector of the Cathedral, will lead the Prayer Service and give the homily. He will be joined by Very Rev. Thomas James, SVD, VE, Episcopal Vicar for the Central Region of the Diocese of Lafayette. Please join us in praying for protection from storms during the upcoming Hurricane Season, which runs June 1–November 30, 2013.
