Lafayette Foundation on Aging, Inc. is inviting people to “sponsor a senior”. The need is particularly great since the “sequester” has reduced funding to the Louisiana Senior Meals Program by $488,000. (Please note that when Congress realized that the sequester would impact the ability of airlines to keep their flights on time, they acted immediately to correct that.)
