A Year of Faith Workshop Designed to Help Catholics Grow into Deeper Prayer will be held on November 9, 2013 at Our Lady of Sorrows Retreat Center, 103 Railroad Avenue, St. Martinville. Participants can choose up to three of the six practical sessions offered. Topics include: Dealing with Distractions in Prayer, Purification and Dryness in Prayer , Drawing Close to Christ with the Rosary, Praying the Mass and Fervent Holy Communion, Praying before the Blessed Sacrament, and Listening to the Word in Meditation. The day will be hosted by the Community of Jesus Crucified and begins at 9:00 AM and ends at 3:00 PM. There is no cost and no registration is necessary. Please bring a brown bag lunch.
