This year December 8th falls on the Second Sunday of Advent, so the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception is transferred to Monday, December 9th. Because the solemnity is transferred from Dec. 8 to Dec. 9, it is NOT a holy day of obligation. We will celebrate the liturgy of the Immaculate Conception at our regular 7:30 a.m. Mass on Monday, December 9th.
