On Wednesday, February 5th, 2014, the state of Louisiana is scheduled to execute 70 year old Christopher Sepulvado for murder. While deploring his crime, we believe in the forgiveness and the redeeming power of God. Join us for a prayer service at 6 pm on Tuesday, February 4th, 2014 at St. Patrick Church (406 E. Pinhook Road, Lafayette, LA). The Diocese of Lafayette and REPEAL desire to come together as a people of faith and protectors of life, to be a voice of mercy, hope and redemption. We will pray for Christopher Sepulvado, for all victims of violence, and for an end to the death penalty in Louisiana.
