Mass of Remembrance

for Loved Ones Lost to Suicide

Recent national headlines have brought about a renewed focus on the causes and tragedy of suicide.  Many local families have been directly affected by personal guilt and concerns associated with a loved one taking their own life. Since Vatican II, the Church recognizes that it bears responsibility to comfort those who mourn, and offer hope for the eternal state of those lost to suicide. St. Joseph Church, 401 South Adams Avenue, Rayne, will celebrate a very special Mass of Remembrance on Monday, October 13, at 7:00 p.m.  It is our hope that this Mass will instill a sense of peace and inner healing to all who attend, as well as offer a powerful prayer for God’s mercy and forgiveness for the special Mass intentions offered that evening. Please make plans to attend.
