Come experience Mother Teresa, the Saint of Mercy at BAYOU MERCY! Bring your family and enjoy a unique Festival of Mercy on the banks of beautiful Bayou Teche in St. Martinville on Divine Mercy Sunday, April 3, from 9am – 9pm. In addition to a talk on the Jubilee of Mercy by Kellie Comeaux, RN, there will be a talk on the Spirituality of Mother Teresa by Fr. Champagne, CJC and one by Fr. Angelo Scolozzi, a coworker and friend of Mother Teresa for over 21 years. The day will include praise in song from the Immaculate Heart of Mercy Gospel Choir as well as Bayou Mercy Praise and Worship Band. An outdoor Mass will be held at the Hour of Mercy, 3pm. Confessions will be available throughout the day. The exclusive Mother Teresa Expo from the Beatification will be available for viewing throughout the day in Trinity gymnasium and rare relics of Mother Teresa will be on hand for veneration in Mater Dolorosa Chapel. The day will conclude with an outdoor showing of the Life of Mother Teresa at 7pm. Pork Steak dinners are available on site from 11:00 – 1:00 for $10.
