The Office of Black Catholics of the Diocese of Lafayette will sponsor “A Day of Reflection for African-American Men” from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 8, 2017. The program will take place at Holy Ghost Church Parish Life Center, 747 North Union Street in Opelousas. The purpose of the program is to explore the hearts, mind, spirit and experiences of black men, past and present generations, in order to advance understanding and healing, empowering men to live out their mission as men of God. The topic will be Ezekiel’s Call (1:28-2:8) Adult advance registration is $15, high school and college students advance registration is $10, and registration for youth age 8-13 is $5.
